(July 13, 2016 – Montréal, Québec) Telefilm Canada has announced funding for the production of three French-language films. The projects will share a total of $1.4 million through the Canada Feature Film Fund. Two of the films are being directed by emerging women filmmakers, Sophie Dupuis and Geneviève Dulude-De Celles. The third director is Marc Bisaillon.
Telefilm’s most recent funding decisions for French-language projects were announced on April 26, 2016, with the organization investing $17 million in 17 films.
