After being deported back to his native Canada, once-famous comedian Bob London (Scott Thompson) attempts a Hollywood comeback after being smuggled across the Mexico-U.S. border. But he finds himself rejected by his former manager and his famous friends turn their back on him. Penniless and alone he is adopted by a pair of migrant workers named Gerardo and Luiz who resolve to show Bob how to make it in America.
The Immigrant was filmed on location throughout Toronto and Los Angeles.
