Mary welcomes her baby brother Chuck back to their family home on Staten Island, but at this point in their lives, these squabbling siblings have nothing in common except their last name. With the house for sale, Mary and Chuck are tasked with deciding what to do with the relics of their childhood and just how to box up their Broadway veteran mother’s larger than life, ever-looming personality. Letting go of the past and dealing with the painful realities of the present are not easy for Mary, so it’s up to Chuck to decide whether he can step up to the challenge of being the rock this family never really had. The Good Death will have its Canadian Premiere at the 2019 Pendance Film Festival in Toronto.
