L’autre côté de novembre tells the story of two women with parallel lives. One
who decided to immigrate to Québec many years ago, and one who chose not to leave her homeland. Léa is a single neurosurgeon resident in Quebec. Layla is a seamstress and mother who lives in a remote village in Lebanon. Memory disorders force them to question themselves. Attracted by the past and often returning to the choices in life we all make and that mark us forever. In trying to see more clearly, Léa and Layla begin to unravel a thread of events that leads back to a childhood friend who long ago disappeared without a trace.
