Iodine is the story of John Clem (Mike Stasko), who goes searching for his missing father in Northern Ontario after he receives a frantic call from his sister. When he arrives at the family cottage, John feels a sense of home, something he hasn’t felt since he was a child. He soon runs into Avery (Ray Wise), a colleague of his father’s but receives no help regarding his dad’s disappearance. John is ultimately stuck in a world created by his mind using his insecurities and paranoia as building blocks, ultimately causing his world to come crashing down by an all too real revelation.
Iodine had its world premiere at the 2009 Montreal World Film Festival.
