Fitting In is a coming-of-age story that follows 16-year-old Lindy (Maddie Ziegler) who has moved into her grandmother’s old house with her single mom Rita (Emily Hampshire) and is unexpectedly diagnosed with a reproductive condition. Called Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome, it means she doesn’t have a uterus or cervix and has a shortened vaginal canal. The diagnosis upends her plans to have sex with her boyfriend Adam and begins to impact all aspects of her life.
