Fauve is a story of two foolhardy boys goofing around in the Québec wilderness. An innocent power game between them escalates beyond their control on the site of an open-pit mine in this impressively performed, visually stunning short film. It won awards at the Tehran International Short Film Festival for Best Fiction Film – International Competition and won a Special Jury Prize at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Fauve was nominated for a 2019 Live Action Short Academy Award.
