Leslie Hope, who is also Producer on the film, plays Melanie, a woman who has been sober for many years and is in a good marriage with her partner Frank (Bruce Greenwood). Things change dramatically following a terminal diagnosis. Melanine leaves everything behind and makes her way to Los Angeles where, with nothing to live for, she starts down a destructive path until she meets a photographer working in the now rarely used antique method of making tintype images. He challengers her to get sober and urges Melanie to pose for a series of explicit photographs which leads to a full-blown affair. Jeff Kober plays the photographer and also wrote the screenplay.
