Three juvenile delinquants – Butch, Angel and Davis – arrive in Enola Vale, a battered, rundown juvenile institution. Butch, 17 years-old, a hardened multiple offender, has no choice but to lie low, the prospect of adult prison looming over his head. The newcomers become instant targets for Banks, the prison’s shotcaller, and are violently attacked. Despite the keepers’ encouragements, they refuse to give out Banks and end up doing isolation time. But this will bring the boys closer, and together, they will succeed in becoming the new leaders of the ward. A fragile balance is found, but the crazy dynamics of retaliation are in place and soon, even the dedicated yet ineffective staff is no longer able to contain the outbursts of chain of incidents, blind assault, and harsh violence that pushes Enola Vale correctional center over the edge..
