JP and Vincent, his impulsive and unstable younger brother, are like two little princes in the street. Their kingdom? The Montreal neighbourhood of Verdun where they go “collecting” for their uncle, a little thug more dangerous than it seems. In the same noisy apartment, the two brothers are crammed together with their mother Joe, who is an alcoholic with fragile periods of sobriety, and Mel, JP’s fiancée, who, like him, aspires to better. But can he ever escape his environment, his blood?
