Francis Mankiewicz moved with his Polishborn parents to Canada when he was just one year old He grew up in Montreal and attended McGill University and the Universit de Montral In 1966 in moved to London England to study filmmaking returning to Montral two years later He first worked in sponsored films what is today called corporate video before releasing his first feature in 1972 Francis Mankiewicz died of cancerbrbrbr
