concert series is an opportunity for local and visiting film and television industry to explore Canada’s wealth of artists and music during TIFF. Since debuting at Toronto’s Roosevelt Room in 2010, the event has seen much success, and continues to be a highlight of the Festival. Produced by Arts & Crafts in conjunction with Radio Starmaker Fund, this year’s event features performances by international favourite Barenaked Ladies, dj/producer Kid Koala, up-and-coming indie rockers Half Moon Run, live electro/hip-hop trio Keys N Krates and many more. “Six years in and we’re thrilled with the way Festival Music House has emerged as a highlight of the TIFF party circuit,” said Aaron Miller, events manager with Arts & Crafts, who produces the event. “This year’s lineup represents another amazing mix of Canada’s best known and emerging musical talent, and we’re honoured to showcase these artists throughout the Festival for some of the film and television industry’s brightest creatives.FMH ” The full 2015 lineup is listed below: Sunday, Sept.13 Kid Koala (midnight) Half Moon Run (11 p.m.) Reuben and the Dark (10 p.m.) Avenue (9 p.m.) Harrison (8 p.m.) Monday, Sept. 14 Keys N Krates (midnight) Barenaked Ladies (11 p.m.) Dear Rouge (10 p.m.) Allie X (9 p.m.) Brave Shores (8 p.m.) The Radio Starmaker Fund was created in the fall of 2000 on the initiative of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters in consultation with the Canadian music industry and the CRTC. It is funded entirely by Canada’s private radio broadcasters and managed by a Board of Directors comprised of leaders in broadcasting and the music industry. The fund supports emerging artists with star potential from every region of Canada. Festival Music House was created in 2010 by Starmaker to provide a platform for artists to share their talents with key decision makers in the film and television industry and to highlight the talents of Canadian musicians.
