Erik Canuel

Erik Canuel was born into a theatrical family that introduced him to the stage at an early age. He tried his hand at movie making and enrolled in the film production faculty at Montreal’s Concordia University. Over a period of three years, he worked on some 82 projects then founded Kino Films, a small production company while in his last year at the university. In 1992 he joined Cinélande, Montreal’s largest television commercial production company and went on to direct more than 200 commercials, 50 rock videos and an impressive number of television episodes.
