Emma Seligman first showed her interest in film by writing reviews Born in Toronto she went on to study film at New York University Tisch School of the Arts graduating in May 2017 She made three short films including emLonewoodsem and then in 2018 turning out emVoidem and emShiva Babyem which was her thesis film This version of Shiva Baby screened at the 2018 South by Southwest film festival while Seligman began development of a featurelength version Released in 2020 emShiva Babyem had its World Premiere at the 2020 South by Southwest Film Festival SXSW We list her credits as a Director firstbrbrbr
