Durga Chew-Bose is an author and film director-screenwriter. Born in Montreal, she later studied in the United States and spent a year at Oxford University in England. Her 2017 book, Too Much and Not the Mood, is a collection of essays. She made her debut as a film director with Bonjour Tristesse, which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2024.
