Daniel O’Connor`s first short film The Juggler was broadcast on CBC and screened at the AFI Los Angeles International Film Festival. Stand By Your Booth was featured at the Austin Film Festival. Daniel`s third short film, the 12-minute, A Wing and a Prayer was shot in Hi Def and screened at a half dozen festivals, winning the Platinum Remi Award at the Houston International Film Festival. O’Connor built up his filmmaking muscles through studying story structure, as well as comedy and thriller genres, with Robert McKee; screenwriting with John Truby; advanced directing with Deepa Mehta; as well as film directing and production at Ryerson University, the Ontario College of Art and Design, and George Brown College in Canada It was also broadcast nationally in Canada. Run Robot Run! marks his feature directorial debut.
