Ann Marie Fleming

Ann Marie Fleming is a filmmaker animator writer visual artist and cofounder of Global Mechanic an animationfilmdesign production house in Vancouver. Of Chinese and Australian parentage, Fleming went to the University of British Columbia and has a BFA diploma in animation from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design and the Open University and an  interdisciplinary BFA from Simon Fraser University. She was a writer-director resident at the Canadian Film Centre in Toronto and an artist in residence at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart. Fleming was a graduate film advisor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has won numerous awards including 3 Best Canadian short film awards from the Toronto International Film Festival.
