ACTRA Toronto Announces Award Nominees

(April 3, 2023 – Toronto, ON) ACTRA Toronto has announced the nominees for the Outstanding Performance on-camera and voice awards and the recipient of the Stunt Award. The 21st ACTRA Awards in Toronto will take place at an in-person event on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

The ACTRA Toronto Stunt Award will be presented to Paul Rutledge.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the 21st ACTRA Awards in Toronto together and in-person for the first time in three years,” said ACTRA Toronto President David Gale. “In 2023, we will applaud the outstanding performances by our members in everything from short and feature films to web series, animation and narration as well as honour the career excellence of our Stunt Award recipient.”
Candidates for ACTRA Toronto’s juried Outstanding Performance awards are submitted for consideration by ACTRA Toronto members. The nominees and winners are chosen by a jury comprised of ACTRA Toronto members. The ACTRA Toronto Stunt Award recipient is chosen by a committee comprised of past ACTRA Toronto Stunt Award recipients.
ACTRA Toronto is the largest organization within ACTRA, representing more than 15,000 of Canada’s 28,000 professional performers working in the English-language recorded media in Canada. As an advocate for Canadian culture since 1943, ACTRA is a member-driven union that continues to secure rights and respect for the work of professional performers.
