Victoria Snow is a stage and screen actress who had her first break when she was promoted from a minor role to the lead in a Stratford Festival production of the musical Happy New Year in 1979, after the original lead Virginia Sandifur could not perform due to an illness. Other stage credits include playing the lead role in a production of Medea, directed by John Neville at Halifax’s Neptune Theatre, and playing Nancy Blake in a 1985 production of The Women at the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. On screen she played Francis Hunter on the series, Paradise Falls. A two-time Gemini Award winner, Snow was named Best Lead Actress in a Dramatic Program or Mini-Series at the 2nd Gemini Awards in 1987 for Daughters of the Country, then in 1990 at the 5th Gemini Awards she took the coveted statuette for Best Guest Performance in a Series for an episode of Street Legal.
