Valerie Buhagiar

Toronto-based actor and filmmaker, Valerie Buhagiar is a scholarship Graduate of George Brown’s Acting Program and a Dora Mavor Moore award winner. She received international recognition for her roles in two Bruce McDonald films, Highway 61 and Roadkill. An accomplished actor, she began her career when she was 18 when she toured China, the U.S. and Canada as a puppeteer with the Blacklight Theatre Company.
