Trent McMullen played the role of Orrie Cather in both the made-for-TV movie and the subsequent Nero Wolfe Mysteries television series. The film, Last Night, directed by Don MacKellar, won the Prix de la Jeunesse at the Cannes Film Festival in 1998.
