Tony Conte left Italy with his parents in the 1970s and settled in Montréal, Québec. In February of 2012 he was sentenced to 40 months in jail after being found guilty by a jury of conspiracy and possession of cocaine with intent to traffic. He is usually remembered for playing a fictional mobster in the crime drama series Omerta in the 1990s.
