Born in Montreal, Simon Chin’s family moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan when he was a year old. He grew up in the province and attended the University of Saskatchewan where he graduated with a Certificate in Business Administration. During a tour of Universal Studios, where his childhood idol Arnold Schwarzenegger was shooting the 1990 feature Kindergarten Cop, he became intensely interested in acting. Simon Chin makes his home in Vancouver, British Columbia, but his chosen career has taken him far and wide.
