Ryan Gosling began his career as a member of The Mickey Mouse Club and as star of such weightless kiddie programming as Breaker High and Young Hercules. He was named best actor for his role in Half Nelson at the 17th annual Stockholm International Film Festival in 2006, a role that brought him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. In December of 2011, Gosling was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an actor in the Drama category for his work in The Ides of March. He was also nominated in the Comedy or Musical category for his role in Crazy, Stupid Love. His 2016 film, La La Land, a musical, was given the People’s Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival®, and in early January 2017 he won a Golden Globe for his role in that film. La La Land was nominated for 14 Academy Awards, one one which is a Best Actor nomination for Ryan Gosling. He costars with Margot Robbie as Ken in Barbie, opening in July from Warner Bros. Pictures. Also look for Simu Liu and Michael Cera in Barbie.
