Patrick Drolet is a 2001 graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada and was nominated for a Prix Gémeaux for his work in the TV series Ayoye! He won the Golden Leopard Award for Best Actor at the 2005 Locarno Film Festival for his role in La novaine. He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 2010 Genie Awards for his performance in De père en flic , and for Best Actor at the 1st Canadian Screen Awards for his performance in Tout ce que tu appartient . Drolet also works in theatre both as an actor and playwright.
