Pascale Montpetit has appeared in numerous soap operas and mini-series including the award-winning Blanche. She won a Best Actress Genie Award for her work in the 1991 film H and has also won several awards for her theatre work, which has included the role of Bénita in Brad Fraser`s Des restes humains non identifiés, and Robert Ducharme’s Inès Pérée et Inat Tendue. Her performance as Louise in Le Coeur au Poing earned her a Best Actress nomination at the 1999 Genie Awards. She won a Genie for her work in Savage Messiah and was nominated for a Genie in 2012 for her role in The Girl in the White Coat. She has played the role of Sonia Blanchard in District 31 since 2016.
