Missy Peregrym starred as Andy McNally in the series Rookie Blue. Born in Montréal she grew up in Surrey, British Columbia with her father, a minister, her mother and two sisters. She began her career in front of the camera at age 18 when she started modelling. The print ads soon turned into commercials and it wasn’t long before Hollywood came calling. Her first guest appearance was on the action-drama series Dark Angel opposite Jessica Alba. She followed that up with the role of Julia on the critically-acclaimed cable series The Chris Isaak Show. Her next audition landed her the plum role of Tory in 2003’s Black Sash. Missy Peregrym is pictured at the 2015 Canadian Screen Awards in Toronto where she accepted the award for Rookie Blue, which was given a newly created Golden Screen Award as the most watched TV Drama or Comedy.
