Michelle Morgan is an actress, producer, director and writer. She is one of six children from a Chilean-Canadian family and is best known for playing the prodigal daughter, Lou Fleming, on the hit CBC series, Heartland. Born in Calgary, she grew up in Toronto and Vancouver. She studied Theatre and Classical Literature at the University of Toronto. In 2018, she started her own production company, Medano Films. Her debut film as a director, Mi Madre, My Father, was given the Best Female Director award at the Vancouver Short Film Festival and the Filmakers Award the the Lakeshorts Film Festival in 2019.
