Melanie Nicholls-King is probably best known for her role as Noelle Williams on the hit TV series, Rookie Blue and before that for playing Cheryl in the US drama series The Wire. She started her career on the stage and formed a theatre company called Sugar’n’Spice with two other women. Nicholls-King was nominated for a DORA award in the best female performance category for Sugar’n’Spice’s first production, Sistahs.
