Maude Eburne

Maude Eburne on the left and Zazu Pitts on the right in a screen capture from the 1935 film, Ruggles of Red Gap. Eburne began her career on stage and like most successful actors of that time eventually found her way to Broadway. She made her film debut in 1930 in The Bat Whispers, which starred fellow Canadian, Fay Wray.
