Matthew MacCaull began acting in theatre. He added creative writing to his many talents while finishing a combined honours degree in Philosophy and English Literature at Dalhousie University & King’s College. He played a recurring role as Dr. Jonas McClellan on the series Hailey Dean Mysteries from 2016 to 2019.
