American-born Matthew George Frewer was raised in Victoria, B.C., and started his career on the stages of the UK before landing a small role in the comedy classic Monty Python’s The Meaning Of Life. He also had bit roles in the films Spies Like Us and Supergirl before landing the role that would establish his career, the futuristic Max Headroom. Matt Frewer plays the role of Dr. Aldous Leekie on the hit series Orphan Black.
