Marnie McPhail began her acting career when she was 14, playing teenage sleuth Annie Edison in the 1982 series, The Edison Twins. She was given a Gemini Award for Best Actress in a Continuing Role for her work on that series. She was also nominated for a Gemini for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for The Associates.
