Mark Whelan

An award winning actor, Mark Whelan has worked extensively in stage, TV and film. Recent theatrical credits include Martin McDonagh’s A Skull in Connamara, a musical adaptation of James Joyce’s The Dead; Hugh Leonard’s Da, and Sam Shepard’s A Lie of the Mind. He appeared as George in the Alumnae Theatre production of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolfe. Other credits include Of Mice and Men, Guy Vanderhague’s Dancock’s Dance and David French’s 1949. If he looks familiar but you can’t quite place him, think of “The Sleeman Guy.”
