Louise Robey

Louise Robey began life with the name Louise Anne Beris Fiona Robey. Her father was a pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force who later became Base Commander, and then a diplomat for NATO. Her mother was a London stage actress. Educated in Europe, Robey was raised and educated throughout Europe, learning to speak four languages. She is a graduate of Elmwood School in Ottawa. Invited to become a model, Robey was photographed for Paris Match and Vogue Paris. She swiftly attained success as a fashion model while living in Paris, where she also started her musical career. At first busking in the streets and performing with the group “Louise and the Creeps,” they were signed to a record contract with CBS France and UK. In the early 1980s, Robey moved to New York City, where she worked as a catwalk model and appeared in high-end advertising campaigns for such famous brands as Maybelline, Jordache, Revlon, L’Oreal and Clairol amongst many others. She has appeared in many magazines from Vogue to Cosmopolitan internationally. In 1986, Robey moved toward a career as an actress appearing in small roles in the films The Money Pit and Raw Deal. One year later she beat out more than 300 other actresses for the role of Michelle “Micki” Foster, niece of antiques dealer Lewis Vendredi, on the syndicated science-fi series Friday the 13th: The Series. To date she has released two albums and a small number of singles.
