Lorne Brass is a Montreal-based director, actor, and editor. He was one of the original members of Carbone 14, a Montreal based theatre company originally founded by Gilles Maheu under the name Les Enfants du Paradis. He wrote, directed, choreographed, acted in and composed music with the company for over 10 years, creating a hybrid form of physical theatre that was formalistic, imagistic and avant-garde. His explosive adaptation of Peter Weiss’ Marat Sade, brought a “Director of the Year” award from the Québec Theatre Critics Association.
