Stage, film and television actress Lise Roy began her career after graduating from the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal in 1975. For her work in Xavier Dolan’s 2013 film, Tom at the Farm, Roy was given the Vancouver Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Canadian Film, and was nominated for the Jutra Award for Best Actress for the same film. She should not be confused with an earlier actress with the same name.
