Laara Sadiq

Laara Sadiq has been a professional actor since 1992. A graduate of UBC with a BFA in Acting, she works extensively in theatre, film, TV and voice-over across Canada. She is a two-time Jessie Richardson Theatre Award winner and multiple nominee. She has also been nominated for a Leo Award. Sadiq has volunteered with the Vancouver Rape Relief and Women’s Shelter, served on the board of directors for the Jessie Richardson Society and Women in View, juried for the BC Arts Council, and actively lobbied on behalf of numerous cultural and political organizations over the years.
