Kyla Wise began her career as Kyla Anderson. Born Kyla Mary Wise Halliday, she made her professional acting debut in theatre. While at a beauty pageant in Calgary, she was offered the chance to work in Japan and Taiwan as a model, but after returning to Canada she went to the University of Calgary when she graduated with a BFA in Drama with Distinction and was awarded the Department of Drama Gold Medal. She played the role of Sheila Bloom in 25 episodes of Intelligence between 2005 and 2007.
