Kristina Nicoll studied acting at the National Theatre School of Canada. She was a member of The Stratford Shakespeare Festival for five seasons where she played leading roles, most notably Rosalind in As You like It and Jo in Little Women. She is a Dora Award winner for best performance in a leading role (Girl in A Goldfish Bowl), and a nominee for the Gina Wilkinson Emerging Female Director Award, as well as a recipient of the Christopher Plummer International Fellowship for Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. Kristina Nicoll served as Assistant Artistic Director at Tarragon Theatre in Toronto from 2010-2012, where she was responsible for casting all productions and play development workshops.
