Ken Tremblett is the oldest of three children born to Jim and Jean Tremblett in Pembroke, Ontario. His father was a military police officer and the family lived in nearby Petawawa. They moved 17 times before his 18th birthday and, as it turned out, constantly being “the new guy” helped him to develop an early passion for acting. It also helped him discover Canada because he has lived, quite literally, from coast to coast. Tremlett’s acting career began as an excuse to finish out his senior year of high school where he started it, instead of relocating to another city with his family. He landed the lead in his school’s Christmas musical and went on to appear in four more plays during the same year. After graduation he left Saint John, New Brunswick and moved to Vancouver in 1985.
