Kate Todd, who is bilingual, grew up north of Toronto, where she graduated with honours from high school and earned the distinction of receiving a designate Ontario Scholar award. She started out as a model but studied acting with Queer as Folk`s Dean Armstrong. She is most often associated with her role as Lily Randall/Shady Lane in the TV series, Radio Free Roscoe. She was just fourteen when she landed the role. Radio Free Roscoe received the Best Teen Show award and Parent’s Choice award at the New York Worlds Festival in 2003, and a Gemini award in 2005. In addition to her work on screen, Todd is also a spokesperson, writer, musician/songwriter, and has performed her music live on internet TV and campus radio, appeared in Concert Halls, Clubs and Coffee Houses in and around the Toronto area as well as performing at the legendary Mint Club in Los Angeles, California.
