Julie Stewart studied acting in Montreal at the National Theatre School and now makes her home in Toronto. The star of the Canadian series, Cold Squad, Julie received Gemini nominations every season but 1999, but finally won a Gemini for her work in that series in 2002. She also has a Leo nomination in 2002, followed by a Leo award in 2003. She had previously been nominated for a Gemini in 1997 for Letter From Francis. She was also nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Guest Role in a Dramatic Series at the 1997 Gemini Awards for her work on North of 60.
