A graduate of Montreal’s McGill University where she received a degree in English, Jennifer Irwin went on to become a member of Toronto’s famed Second City where she wrote four productions, all of which were nominated for a Dora Award. Most of her work has been in the area of comedy, including being nominated for Pretty Funny Female at the 6th Annual Canadian Comedy Awards. She was also been nominated for a Gemini Award for her performance Slings and Arrows and in 2010, the Canadian Comedy Awards nominated her for Best Performance by a Female in TV for her work in Less Than Kind. She played the role of Sammy Dunbar on the series Michael: Tuesdays and Thursdays as was nominated for an ACTRA Toronto Award in January 2012 for her work on that series. Jennifer Irwin is the voice of Sheila Wendall in the animated series, Crash Canyon. She plays the recurring role of Virginia Kremp in the series The Goldbergs.
