Jahmil French was born and grew up in Toronto. He was best known for his role as Dave Turner on 149 episodes of Degrassi: The Next Generation from 2009 to 2013. He was Dante Mendoza in his last series, Soundtrack in 2019. Jahmil French was just 28 when he died.
