Jackie English

Jackie English is a television host, actress, dancer, choreographer, director, filmmaker and performer. Born in Toronto, her mother was the managing director at the Factory Theatre. English later moved to Montreal where she graduated from McGill University in the top 5% in Mechanical Engineering. Her 1-minute short film, Nimby, was named Best Film at the 2011 Toronto Urban Film Festival (TUFF). Her 2017 film Becoming Burlesque was selected to open that year’s Canadian Film Fest.
