Ishan Davé

Ishan Davé’s family is from Gujarat, a western state in India. Born in Ontario, he is a graduate of Montréal’s National Theatre School. He began acting when he was 13 landing his first role, that of Sandi Bhutella in the series Renegadepress.com and going to appear in 52 episodes between 2004 and 2008. He was nominated in 2006 and again in 2007 for a Canadian Screen Award in the category Best Performance in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series for his work on Renegadepress.com. He played the role of Detective Pujit Singh in the series Slasher and he was Raj Mehta, a recurring character in 8 episodes of Kim’s Convenience between 2017 and 2020.
