Igor Drljača moved to Canada in 1993 due to the wars in former Yugoslavia. He completed his Master`s in Film Production at York University`s graduate program in 2011. He runs the production company TimeLapse pictures with York Alumn Albert Shin. He is the recipient of the K.M. Hunter artist award for media arts. His award winning shorts include Woman in Purple (2010), and The Fuse: Or How I Burned Simon Boliver (2011), which have screened at hundreds of festivals. His critically acclaimed 2012 feature film Krivina premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and screened at dozens of other international festivals. In 2014 he co-produced Albert Shin’s TIFF 2014 favourite In Her Place, which received 7 Canadian Screen Awards. These are his credits as a Director.
