Heidi von Palleske is an honours graduate from the George Brown College Theatre Programme in Toronto. Her starring role in 1993’s Ramona won her a best actress award at the Spanish International Film Festival and the critic’s choice award at the Montreal Film Festival. In addition to acting, Heidi von Palleske has written poetry, articles, and fiction, and won the H.R. Percy Novel Prize for They Don’t Run Red Trains Anymore. Her latest book is titled Two White Queens and a One-Eyed Jack.
