Gordon Currie was born in Vancouver to American parents. In 1991, after a couple of years getting TV and film work in Vancouver, Gordon tried his chances in Hollywood. He moved to Los Angeles initially to study acting more seriously. For two years he shared an apartment with Brad Pitt. He landed small roles on 21 Jump Street, Beverly Hills, 90210 and Murder She Wrote to name just a few. Currie returned to Vancouver in the late 1990s. He is probably best known for his role as Nicolae Carpathia, pictured above, in the Left Behind series of movies.
